Lifetime use fell from about 47% in 1999 to 30% in 2023. Recent use dropped from about 27% to 18%. Early initiation (starting young) declined from about 11.5% to 6.5%.
Bottom line: Adolescent cannabis use in the U.S. increased in the 1990s, peaked near 1999, and has declined since.

I’ve long argued for the NFL to wait until AFTER the appeals process is over to announce fines and suspensions. Almost every fine/suspension is appealed by the player and lots are reduced or taken away. The player is still judged on the original news regardless, which is not always right.

🚫The Administrative Law Judge, Derek C. Julius, tasked with issuing a recommendation on whether to reschedule marijuana denied a request by opponents to reopen the hearing.
He found no justification to reopen the hearing, which "already includes over 2,500 pages of witness testimony and multiple thousands of pages of documentary evidence."
