Finished Dietrich’s part one, the final path! While it had the weakest field mechanics, it’s lifted by a captivating story with an epic ending featuring some of the best characters in the game. Oh hey, turns out there’s a Part II…
Some cool gaming exhibits and pop up shops are in Tokyo this weekend:
🦔 Sonic 35th anniversary exhibit (last weekend!)
🧟♂️ The World of Biohazard exhibit
🃏 Persona Memoria pop up shop
🐜 Earth Defense Force pop up shop
Check out my guide for more info!: tokyogamelife.com/blog/tokyo…
Custom Sonic headphones at the anniversary exhibit in Ikebukuro. Sadly I don’t think Sonic could actually wear them.
I swung by Persona Memoria at Bandai Namco Cross Store Ikebukuro, which is a mix of a pop up shop and a bunch of minigame activities (that I didn’t do because the wait was long). Very cool to see new merch of Persona 1 and 2.
More Zelda collabs are starting up next week in Japan! Ichiban Kuji will have a Zelda prize lottery, Takarajimasha will release a rupee pouch, and the Akiba Tolim Lawson will have Zelda decorations. Sadly my prediction of a Baskin-Robbins collab seems less likely…
Mole Mania is now available on NSO! Produced by Miyamoto, it’s a cult classic puzzle game that you should check out before they add Muddy Mole to Smash.
Stumbled across an Earth Defense Force pop up shop at Bandai Namco Cross Store in Ikebukuro. The ant plushie is the perfect piece of EDF merch.
Some fan messages at Yodobashi Camera Ikebukuro to celebrate the Zelda 40th anniversary, including an important request from @MrNantendo
I cleared Cai’s path in Fire Emblem Fortune’s Weave! I enjoyed the story and the mount mechanics were fun to engage with. Next up is my final route: Dietrich!
Taking a break from Dagda to visit Wuhu Island in Nintendo Switch Sports Resort! Really digging thumb wrestling and table tennis, plus the exploration games are fun to control. The quest to hit all the secret targets starts now.
