This is from 'The Inside Story of Arsenal’s Rebirth Under Mikel Arteta', which was published a few days ago. It would have been nice if this account had credited the source... Anyway, there are plenty more stories like this in the book.
🚨 𝗡𝗘𝗪: A page from a book about Arsenal reveals how Mikel Arteta once tricked his players into believing he could read their minds before a North London derby against Tottenham in October 2022.
Arteta challenged his players to secretly hide a small object inside ONE shoe of all the players. He then had to guess who had it.
He studied their faces, looked into their eyes and even checked their pulses before correctly picking Gabriel Magalhães.
The players were SHOCKED and couldn't believe he had guessed correctly.
But after Arsenal beat Tottenham 3-1, Arteta revealed his secret: he had been watching the entire thing through the hotel's CCTV cameras.

🚨 William Saliba has returned to first team training. Im told Saliba has absolutely smashed his recovery milestones but Arsenal will be very cautious regarding his availability for selection. Great news.
