Irv Omtvedt, a key IANR leader in the late 20c, died on Monday. He left a strong legacy in strengthening the university and Nebraska agriculture. Respected for his vision and diplomatic skill. Also a leader in national animal science circles
(My thanks to Chuck Schroeder for invaluable observations on the IANR history of that era)
