To the heroes that risked their lives and liberty to cling onto hungry hands reaching out from besieged Palestine. To those that won in Oldham, in London, in Tamworth, in Bristol, in Leicester, and yes, in Filton. To those whose vindication came while locked in a lonely cell or cuffed to a hospital bed. This victory belongs to the tears of their loved ones who live every day in the cell with them. To those that learned to speak in code when their words were deemed weapons. To those surveilled and targeted in new sophisticated ways for their refusal to stand down. To those who held placards high above their heads knowing the price could be heavy.
