A few months ago I went to Rottnest Island and took well over 7000 photos. I've just finished posting the highlights on insta 😭
fun fact to anyone applying to jobs on seek. If you hyperlink something in your resume, seek strips it. I can't click it. They don't give it to me. It doesn't exist anymore.
Don't hyperlink stuff. 🤦
my favourite instagram feature is when they at random decide to delete your drafts just because you had the audacity to run an update or something 🥴
I thought this was just some random twitter account posting ai slop at first. Then I looked at the username. It's actually the quadtrilliobillion dollar company posting ai slop instead. epic
Celebrating small wins is hardwired into "Achieve," our goal-tracking sample app.
We wanted the simple act of checking off a task to feel like a celebration. Instead of the standard #Material ripple, we used Styles to drop in a custom, high-contrast completion animation—specifically, a brand-colored ring that expands and fades on tap, paired with a subtle pressed-state gradient.
It lets us focus entirely on polishing those custom, rewarding micro-interactions while Material handles the foundation.

can they instead just improve discord so a 56kb image doesn't take like 6 seconds to send. that'd be great
Discord is working on new Nitro feature
Custom Typing Indicators, allowing users to replace the default three dots with their favorite emojis, avatars, or animations.
Basing on datamined strings we can assume:
- User will be allowed to swap the standard typing dots for animated emojis or avatar.
- User will be able to customize the typing text like: "DzikStar is typing" -> "DzikStar is yapping".
- Includes options like Surprise Me for quick setups and a Reset button to revert to standard settings.
it's the big year 2026 and airdrop will still just randomly stop working until you reboot everything 4 times in a randomly specific order. love it
