The biggest parcel to arrive this side of Christmas has landed at the Power Station. The 90-ton 75MW transformer from Italy is at the heart of our latest £5m project to ensure Jersey's electricity supply remains one of the most reliable in Europe. ow.ly/1nDn50CIQ09

Yes, something had to be done about the cracks and flooding, and this is a reasonable solution.

It was our pleasure to meet @USAmbUK and give him a comprehensive tour of Battery Lothringen yesterday. Ambassador Johnson laid a wreath at a memorial to @USNavy sailors killed in action nearby during WW2, and read their names aloud following a blessing by the Dean of Jersey.

His Excellency Mr Robert Johnson, the US Ambassador to the Court of St James, has been in Jersey for an official visit. This is the Ambassador’s first visit to Jersey and reflects the increasing business, cultural and inter-governmental ties between the Island and the USA.

We are bound to have more cases as we open the borders. We cannot stay like robinson crusoes forever: We need our Tourism & Hospitality sectors back. The public has to respect the guidelines & be careful, this is the path we are on

3/3 I’d like to thank our testing & contact tracing teams, & all those working at PoJ for their continued hard work which has ensured the successful implementation of our border measures thus far. Thanks to their diligence all testing of arrivals has been done within 1hour 20mins

First @British_Airways flight into Jersey since 100 days of lockdown. Let’s be positive & thankful a major global airline has shown commitment to fly to Jersey hours after unlock despite the huge challenges it has faced & last minute @StatesAssembly deliberations. #theislandbreak

Indeed. Tadier denied others making a comment. Prehaps that was his intention
Childish, peevish, and nothing whatsoever to do with the best interests of Islanders.
