Now even MOAR AI in @ToolstashApp!
You can ask DIY questions, and since it knows what tools you've got, it makes appropriate recommendations on how to do what you want with what you've got!
(Thanks to @davidfuesser and @arvidkahl for the suggestion!)

this weekend i've been a swiftui MACHINE, knocking out a ton of stuff on @toolstashapp.
- automatic tool categorization
- filtering your tools by categories
- automatic camera lens switching (for close-up vs far-off photos)
- tool locations (workshop, garage, basement, etc) and filtering based on that)
plus quite literally hundreds of other fixes/improvements.
looking for 10 more folks to help test it out! if you've got tools (hammers, saws, yard equipment, etc) i would absolutely LOVE your help testing it.
reminder: toolstash lets you track your entire tool collection simply by taking photos of it.
in the near future you'll be able to lend/borrow with your neighbors (if you so choose)

okay, @ToolstashApp is really starting to feel like actual magic.

HAHAHAHA!!!! This tool identification stuff is freaking magic. ✨🤖🧰🥳
Computer vision (@roboflow) + OCR (@cloudinary) + GTP-3 (@OpenAI)...all you have to do is upload an image of a tool and @ToolstashApp will do the rest.
(Sorry about the audio clipping. I was too pumped.)

First round of tool identification in @ToolstashApp to make adding tools faster.
Goal is to get you quickly adding your tools without fretting over the details unless you want to.
We've trained and manually labeled over 30,000 images of tools and frequently can get very specific on the exact type of tool, but really a lot more tools before we can do that consistently.
We'll get there. 🙂
