John Malone claims Netflix withdrew from bidding for Warner Bros. Discovery after the Trump administration told the streamer its proposed acquisition would not receive U.S. regulatory approval, clearing the way for Paramount’s purchase.
Malone said he believes that warning was the deciding factor in Netflix’s exit.
Billionaire media mogul John Malone predicts Elon Musk could invest up to $10 billion in Skydance, helping the company reduce its debt while giving SpaceX’s Starlink a foothold in entertainment.
Speaking Wednesday, Malone pointed to Musk’s business portfolio and ties to Skydance backer Larry Ellison, father of CEO David Ellison.
