Lost Streets of Old Cabbagetown. Reed St. Today's redeveloped Regent Park sits on the bones of the original Cabbagetown which was razed and redeveloped for the original Regent Park. Reed St was a working class street which was too short and didn't fit into the new urban plan. – at Vaughan, Ontario

By 1962, radio was fighting against TV for people's attention. But the older generations probably still turned on the radio on a Saturday or Sunday evening and sat in their chair listening to the shows. (Toronto Archives /personal collection). Do you still listen to the radio? – at Vaughan, Ontario

Canada's First FM Stereo Station had its first offices on Bloor St at Balmuto ( SE corner ). Today we know it as Virgin 99.9, I grew up knowing it as Mix 99.9. Originally though it was CFRB 99.9. A simulcast of CFRB 1010 ( which is still on the AM dial ). – at Vaughan, Ontario
