Kenenisa Bekele returns to the Berlin Marathon ‼️ At the age of 44, the double winner of the event will once again run on the streets of the German capital 🇩🇪 The Ethiopian's respective winning marks of 2:03:03 (2016) and 2:01:41 (2019) were both, at the time, the second fastest marathons in history ⚡️ Bekele competed once last year but DNF'd at the New York City Marathon 🏃

An unprecedented decision: The NC State Board of Education's Independent Interscholastic Athletic Appeals Board has overturned the viral disqualification of Mallard Creek track star Nyan Brown in the NCHSAA 8A state championship meet. Mallard Creek is now the co-8A state champion with Jordan High School. The NCHSAA’s Board of Directors convened for an emergency meeting on Tuesday morning to confirm the decision, which was passed down from the Athletic Appeals Board. The men's 4x4 relay was one of the most entertaining and high-performing events I've ever seen. Running that fast in the rain should be illegal - but, Wayde Van Niekerk stole the show as he split approximately 43.2e - 43.26e. WR holder brings the smoke.

I think this was one of the most entertaining weekends in Track and Field. So many story lines, head to heads, and fast times. 🔥🤝🏾. Hopefully the powers that be use this as an opportunity to broaden our sport in the market. We did our thing. 🫵🏾🔥🕺

This got my 4x8 DQ’d for unsportsmanship conduct- he tossed the baton. Not angrily, not maliciously, just because he was tired after a 1:52 split. And not even something we could appeal because it was a judgment decision. We have got to do better in this sport

Kerr's 3:45.34 Mile National Record was amazing. Fully deserved the win and won it in a gutsy way. Also, Ingebrigtsen's 2024 DEBUT was also a 3:45.60. Crazy talent hitting the mile in 2024.

Jaylen Slade & Noah Lyles 🇺🇸 doing block starts in training. We get to see Slade compete for the first time since 2022 at the adidas Atlanta City Games, where he'll run the 100m. He ran 10.09s and 20.20s as a 17-year-old in 2021.
