“Fiscal policy can no longer be the domain of the few.” In a new blog, our Executive Director @apmunozg reflects on #FfD4 and argues for a public finance agenda led by the priorities of everyday people. #PublicFinance #FiscalJustice #openbudgets

📹As #FfD4 wraps up, our Executive Director @apmunozg reflects on 5 days of impactful conversations across 8 events. Here are her 3 key takeaways for transforming public resource governance: ✅ Civil society must evolve from participants to recognized actors in governance systems ✅ Tax systems need to be truly equitable ✅ Domestic debt accountability must take center stage Watch her insights 👇👇

📹 In the wake of #FfD4, our Executive Director @apmunozg reflects on a key challenge: achieving meaningful outcomes requires rethinking who gets to shape public finance decisions. "For too long, women and marginalized communities—those most impacted by budget choices—have been excluded. It's time to build coalitions that center their voices in how governments raise and spend public resources.” #publicfinance #publicparticipation

📹Catch the highlights from our event, Financing Public Services: Fulfilling Human Rights and Building a Care Society—a powerful discussion on how equitable public spending can advance dignity, equity, and care-centered development. Hosted in partnership with @GIESCR @ActionAid @redclade @CME_es @globaleducation @GAllianceCare @hrw @ISERUganda @Oxfam @PSIglobalunion

"When we think about rebalancing power, we need to make sure that civil society - both technical and those who represent social movements - are at the table. We want to find solutions and find within government those reformers who want to work with civil society."
