I'm starting to think Twitter is a simulation. It's designed to make you think other people can drive engagement/get more followers with posts, and the algorithm is curated as such to trick you into thinking if you try harder, you can break it somehow. All my tweets literally get 1 or 2 views each time (which I'm fairly certain is just me clicking on them). I'm verified, have nearly 200 followers, and still, none of them see anything I post. On the other hand, whenever I leave a reply in a twitter thread, my reply tweets have on occasion gotten hundreds/even thousands of likes, many replies and bookmarks. My experience on this platform has shown me that the only real way for me to get engagement/new followers is by being a 'reply guy'. But I can never attract newcomers to my account by making public posts. There is probably a highly technical explanation for this that only those 'in the know' can explain to me, but from my point of view, it feels like there is no point whatsoever to posting tweets.

Hmm... is it really a coincidence that Spain seems to be having so many train crashes lately? Part of me wonders if these animals damaging the railway infrastructure might have something to do with it...

"We are not the cause of any of your problems" So America went to war against a foreign country tens of thousands of miles away for no reason then? And the Strait of Hormuz just closed itself for no real reason, did it? And the fact that literally all but 8 members of congress are being paid money by Israeli lobbying groups has nothing to do with you as well, does it? Also, the fact that said politicians are constantly trying to subvert the first amendment and pass laws against antisemitic hate speech when people speak out against this–that too isn't anything to do with you well now, is it?

Do you think maybe this is in any way comparable to the Conservative Party's decimation in the 2024 election, under Sunak? Is the Republican Party undergoing its own "Zero Seats" campaign?

About to make a new reddit post here saying: "Curious why a french girl I've been talking to keeps saying to me: 'Please leave me alone or I'm calling the police. I don't even know you."

He should have included a space in the word search. A foolish mistake.

I would advise you not to treat everything you see on the internet as gospel. Men indicate what they desire through actions and behaviour, and sometimes it is difficult to tell the difference between when they are honest, or just engaging in banter. Generally speaking, it is true men have a preference for curves and large breasts and buttocks, but there is a delicate balance between 'curvy' and being overweight, which most men are not attracted to. And a lot of the time where that line falls is down to individual preference.

12. AI will make us more artistic and creative. Another lie. Instead of ushering a new age of creativity, it's levelled the playing field of artistic skill and creativity by allowing people to bypass the painstaking steps and giving them a finished product in a matter of seconds. In a day and age where nobody (not even an AI weirldy enough) can tell the difference between one that is generated and one that was created by passion, the industry has become hollowed out, and traditional artists are left wondering if there is any economic or social purpose for them to continue. There's a burgeoning movement of "AI-artists" who see the requisite skills to make music and draw as disposable, and their generative slop is being artificially promoted all over social media despite near unanimous pushback.

You probably wouldn't. Some roads (especially narrow country roads like this) do not allow wide loads through them, and come with warning signs. You'd have to take a different route instead.

I live on the Isle of Wight, and I drive through narrow country roads like this all the time. They can be very unsettling if you're not used to them. For that reason, I'm grateful I don't drive a massive SUV. As long as you concentrate carefully and don't drive too fast (not listen to Rammstein or go faster than 20mph like the guy in this video), you should be fine. Also, there are passing places (little spaces/alcoves in the hedgerow) for situations like this where you can park to the side, and let opposite traffic flow past you. Alternatively, one of you might reverse and let you go ahead.

There needs to be a third party in American politics. I would suggest Thomas Massie be the main guy in it but unfortunately, he is economically a libertarian and is not on board with mass deportations of 'legal' immigrants. America needs their own Rupert Lowe, fast.
