Today is the day the greatest story in sports history reaches its final chapter. 🐐🇦🇷
A story filled with failure and success, criticism and praise, heartbreak and glory.
A boy who dreamed of becoming a footballer. A man who was once hated by his own countrymen. A player who was written off, doubted and criticized after losing five major finals with Argentina. A player who eventually walked away from international football because the pain became too much.
But he came back.
He fought. He believed. He refused to give up.
And then he conquered the world.
Copa América. Finalissima. World Cup. The trophies that once seemed impossible became his reality. He won everything there was to win with Argentina.
The same people who once questioned him now call him a god.
That is why Messi’s story is bigger than football. It is a story about resilience. About failing, getting back up, and refusing to let your failures define you.
Today, we say goodbye to Messi in an Argentina shirt. 💔🇦🇷
The boy who dreamed of lifting the World Cup leaves the national team having lifted it.
What a story. What a career. What a legend.
Thank you, Leo. 🐐

Farmers' league or not, if a player performs at the top level, they have a big chance of winning the Ballon d'Or.
You disqualified Kane with champions league but telling us Mbappe should win because he won multiple of golden boot 🤡🤡🤡
Ballon d’Or has officially lost credibility.
Harry Kane won the Bundesliga and the DFB-Pokal, failed to win the Champions League, yet walked away with the Ballon d’Or ahead of Mbappé, who won multiple Golden Boots.
If this is how football’s biggest individual award is decided, take it seriously at your own detriment.

Unpopular opinion: Pau Cubarsi deserved more recognition than Lamine Yamal for the Kopa Trophy last season.
Cubarsi was outstanding throughout the season. Yes, defenders make mistakes, but we often judge them far more harshly because one mistake can cost a goal.
His performances at the World Cup were brilliant too. Honestly, I’d even argue he deserved stronger consideration for the Golden Ball than Rodri.
We celebrate goals, assists and dribbles, but defenders rarely get the same appreciation for their impact on a team.
Are we undervaluing defenders when it comes to individual awards?

If Harry Kane doesn’t win the Ballon d’Or, it would be a disgrace to football.
A record-breaking season with Bayern. Two titles. A Champions League semi-final. A World Cup bronze medal. The European Golden Boot.
What more does this man need to do to get the recognition he deserves?

I feel like this Kopa Trophy is a consolation prize for Yamal since he might not win the Ballondor. But how did Cubarsí not win it based on his performances? Sha, congratulations to Harry Kane on winning the ballandor👏🏾
Bro Really Did What He's Saying. The Second And Third Ranks Were Fighting Among For The Award. Harry Kane Just Stayed Cool And Bagged The Award. Legendary Stuff. Congratulations 🎉

And there’s a lesson here…
The only one who didn’t go out there and campaign for the Ballon dor at every given opportunity won the whole damn thing.
Footballers, learn!!!

Harry Kane won the Ballon d’Or largely for the same reason Raphinha only finished 5th last year.
can we talk about the 2 Biggest LOSERS from tonights Ballon D'Or cermony?
they both stepped down to such a low place, hailing themselves as the best players itw. Being completly shameless and Arrogant to steal the Ballon D'Or from Kane
but thankfully Humblness WON and Arrogance LOST
