MarketIntern now scans three markets: crypto, forex, US stocks & ETFs.
Same 7 rules on every chart, around the clock.
Plus: position size calculator, watchlist, live trade tracking, and a journal that books every result in R.

The Fed decision lands in the early hours tomorrow our time. I don't trade the number. If I've got a position on, the stop stays where it is and the size is the same as any other trade. If I'm flat, I wait for the dust to settle.
Most liquidations come down to no clear entry, no stop-loss and no idea how much you're risking.
Sort those three before you click.

I wanted to share today's scan from my discord community.
I take a list of the perp contracts with over $3 million in daily volume and then do a scan on tradingview. I get the list from Market Intern.
Some days there will be loads of options, other days there will be none.
This scan will show you a glimpse of what we do in the community scans.
It is about understanding where we are in the market right NOW and moving with it even if moving with it means doing nothing.
The weekly time frames are what really have my attention right now.
I hope this finds you well. My door is open when you are ready.
Most stops that get hunted were never targeted. They sat in the same obvious spot as everyone else's, just under support, and price went there because that's where the orders were.
I've written up how to use that

#Bitcoin - The time frame that represents the trend the best is the one where the focus should go.
It is far too easy to place too much expectation on a market or a time frame you might like to trade on. What often happens though is the focus is on the wrong time frame and the results don't come.
The time frame I am reading as the dominant trend right now for bitcoin is the weekly and this video breaks it down so hopefully it makes sense.
Time to be patient.

#Bitcoin closes another week in the red.
Am I worried?
No.
The weekly trend is the trend that is ruling right now with everything else just a mess as you go lower than that time frame.
This is so far healthy and all that is required is patience, something very hard for many.
We will get optimal markets again, we will get great trends again but for now it's hurry up and wait for me. If I do trade it will be for 1:1 targets on. Straight in and out as soon as my risk is matched with reward. Very simple stuff, very boring as well.
I will be sharing a LOT more on tomorrow's free newsletter so if you're not on it jump in here: thegrowmeco.com/
Most traders get stuck in the same stage for years, because they go strategy shopping when the strategy was never the problem.
I've written up the three stages every trader goes through, and how to tell where you are

For those trading US equities.
Market Intern also runs on FOREX and US equities and this stock $VLO is looking very nice.
FOREX is still pretty cluttered from a trend perspective but US equities are starting to show some options.

Bitcoin is a sideways mess on the mid term time frames.
The weekly however has something to say along with a number of other altcoins for which a spot position might be the outcome.
Have a watch and hit me with any questions you may have.

Even when someone's trade calls are honest and good, following them teaches you nothing, because you never had the reason for the trade and can't manage it.
I've written up why, and what I'd do with a call instead

In todays' free newsletter I will be going into detail about how I use the weekly chart to get perspective for longer term swing trades.
This is a great time to go into this topic as there are some options I am watching.
This leans towards spot buying as well, simply because it is a longer term play.

Following opinions leaves you with no plan B. Written rules for risk, entries and exits are what pull you out when things change.

If you're trading a five-minute chart around a full-time job, you're a full-time trader who's missing most of it.
I've written up the slower setup I'd use instead, and what a workable week looks like in under two hours

The aim of the game is to stay in the game. Chasing money every single day wears you down and your plan goes with it.

If I was starting again tomorrow, I wouldn't place a real trade for the first two months.
I'd spend that time learning to read a bare chart and running my rules on paper, and I've written up the order I'd do it in

You don't need to sit at the charts all day to trade. On the weekly timeframe, one look at the market a week is enough.
