Wow what a crazy 2 years it has been! It was such a difficult situation to endure not only physically but mentally to comeback from an #ACL to winning and now defending National Champions! I’m so grateful for my village! @TSJ_FCVirginia @AIDPPT @TrainerGully @GAcademyLeague

@CALU_mbb junior Zyan Collins became the 34th player in school history to score 1,000 career points last night in the victory over Kutztown. The Vulcans have multiple 1,000-point scorers on the team for the first time since the 2002-03 campaign.

Several yrs ago I was playing pickup with some HS players in Va & to spice games up I usually talk trash or make phantom calls to slow pace down 😂. This one HS kid got so mad & told me I need to “Google” him. This new trash talk surprised me but HS internet relevancy is serious. – at Virginia, USA

Two basic types of work in this analogy;
1. Building the car you want to race in.
2. Learning how to race the car.
These don’t happen the same way and they are not the same. And you can’t do just one.

I’ve had two athletes over the course of my career tell me “they don’t pay for training”.
Both of them are/were injured all time.
Both of them ONLY do skill work in off-seasons.
YOU CANT RACE A BROKEN/BAD RACE CAR, NO MATTER HOW GOOD YOU ARE AT RACING.

Congratulations to 2024 @HopePip24 who’s officially surpassed 250 points in her @BWHSGirlsBball career. Especially with a shortened COVID freshman season.. No matter what, this kid always puts her team first!
