Charlotte voters will be voting on the PAVE Act today (Public Access to Valuable Equity), a one-cent sales tax that will support the construction of the Gateway Station, Red Line regional rail to Lake Norman and Silver Line LRT to CLT Airport.
If Charlotte passes the PAVE Act, we have big plans for a new mobility hub called Gateway Station
It will have housing, retail, office space - and access to:
• Amtrak service
• Taxi & ride share
• Raised Greenway
• Gold Line streetcar
• Silver Line Light Rail
• Red Line Commuter Rail
• Local, express, & intercity bus

My @METROHouston rail red line trip from McGowen to central square station took 16 minutes, it’s scheduled for 5 minutes. We were made to stop at Webster, Gray, St Joseph st, Bell, at the very least. I eventually lost count
Chairperson Brock dismisses @METROHouston riders complaints re: the removed transit signal priority on metrorail: “some folks are seeing a minute or two delay, I don’t *think* it’s 15 minutes” (my emphasis)
