Six organisations had Super Validator proposals approved in September. Here’s what each plans to bring to Canton. • @Paxos: Connect its stablecoin platform to Canton and issue $20m within six months of approval. It also plans to offer 24/7 minting and redemption for approved users. • @TreasurySpring: Use Canton to record who owns its fund shares. Its first milestone includes targets of $10m outstanding and $15m in total issuance within three months of approval. • Shinhan Asset Management: Help Korean financial firms connect to Canton, with plans for issuing assets and settling transactions in Korean won. • @LSEGplc: Bring its experience in financial markets, payments and settling trades to help more institutions use Canton. • @MarexGlobal: Help financial firms settle transactions and use assets as collateral on Canton, drawing on its trading, clearing and financing business. • @a16zcrypto: Bring experience from backing crypto companies and supporting developers, alongside knowledge of how blockchain networks are built and run. Approval comes with commitments. Their associated $CC rewards depend on milestones being met, verified and approved. Paxos and TreasurySpring have published specific targets. The detailed milestones for the other four haven’t been made public.
