Regarding the whole WoW Forever dungeon XP nerf. From my perspective, its a great change. As someone who 3 man’ed most dungeons in classic with his buds, all we used dungeons for was gear. Grinding dungeons for gear and using quests for the majority of XP was peak wow gameplay.

“Okay lads, this week we gotta get to lvl 45 so we can run SM: Cathedral. From there we grind the gear in it (and Armoury for Ravenger). Then with that new gear, we can quest easier and get to level 52 so we take on Maraudon and get some more gear upgrades.”

The balance of getting gear to make questing easier so we could get to a level which we can 3 man harder dungeons was really nice and i think Forever will embody that. I know 5 man is easier and faster but there was something about the slow burn that i promise you feels better.

I played the Castlevania: Belmonts Curse Demo and i think itll be a fun game but be “Castlevania” in name only.

Im not surprised about the discourse. I don’t think its that controversial to not enjoy a game because it no longer plays like it did. Its like telling someone who loves Monopoly that it plays like Sorry! now and expecting them to be okay with it.

Circle of the Moon is by far my favourite Castlevania. Not the most in depth Castlevania but its simplicity is where it shines. Music 10/10, i love the DSS system and the castle is my fav in the series. I get not liking it, but shameful? Just ain’t sitting right with me 👎
