People can read, Andrew.
Here are three permits approved for data center projects just this week, including one yesterday.
The pause is fake. Greg Abbott lied to Texas.
But hang in there though!
The headline says data center permits 'kept moving”
The facts: zero data center permits have been approved, and stormwater permits are suspended.
The pause is real.
Texans come first.

.@jamestalarico after Elon Musk sent $158M to support Ken Paxton:
"Big money is powerful. I don't want to sugarcoat that. The richest man in the world is coming after us, but it is nothing compared to people power. Elon wants our land. He's already trying to buy one of our beautiful state parks down in South Texas. He wants our water for these AI data centers. He wants our taxpayer funds like when he ran that crazy DOGE process, and he wants his very own personal United States senator, and that's what he thinks he can get with Ken Paxton."

BREAKING: George W. Bush's brother Neil just dropped a BOMB on MAGA by proudly announcing that he voted for James Talarico in the Texas Senate race.
This just gave Republicans a flashing green light to vote blue...
"I have never posted a political message on Facebook not wanting to offend friends whose views may be very different than mine. I'm breaking that tradition because I voted early today, and I voted for James Talarico for the United States Senate," Bush, the child of the late President George H.W. Bush wrote on Facebook.
"My vote was motivated by two things: deep concern about Ken Paxton's record and genuine admiration for the character and principles I see in James Talarico," he continued.
"I have been deeply troubled by Paxton's conduct as Texas Attorney General, particularly his decision to challenge the results of the 2020 presidential election in other states in an effort to help Donald Trump remain in power. I believe that effort was an affront to our democratic institutions and the peaceful transfer of power. My concerns about his judgment and conduct are hardly mine alone. He was impeached by the Republican-controlled Texas House, although subsequently acquitted by the Texas Senate."
"More broadly, I believe Donald Trump and those who have enabled him have done enormous damage to the Republican Party. I worry about a political culture in which loyalty to an individual takes precedence over loyalty to principle, and where those who hold power begin to believe they are no longer accountable."
"But my vote today was about much more than opposition to Ken Paxton."
"I've never met James Talarico, but I have been enormously impressed by the way he approaches complicated and controversial issues. He speaks with respect, seeks common ground, and seems genuinely interested in bringing people together rather than driving them apart. His faith appears to be a deeply rooted source of humility, compassion, and conviction rather than a political weapon."
I see in him the qualities I admire most in public servants: integrity, civility, humility, and a willingness to listen to those with whom he disagrees. My impression is that he is a principled, pragmatic leader who understands that public office is a responsibility to serve, not an entitlement to power."
"I have been a Republican for most of my life, and I still believe deeply in many traditional Republican principles. But character matters more than party affiliation. Our democracy depends on leaders who respect our institutions, tell the truth, accept accountability, and seek to unite rather than divide."
"Today, I voted against a style of politics that I believe has damaged our country. More importantly, I voted for the kind of character and leadership I hope will help heal it," he concluded.
Bravo, Mr. Bush! We commend you for speaking out boldly during these crucial midterm elections. Ken Paxton is a stone-cold crook who was impeached for bribery by his own party as state attorney general. He has zero interest in serving the people of Texas if he wins and will instead work to line his own pockets, accumulate personal power, and rubber-stamp Trump's destructive agenda.
Meanwhile, James Talarico is a devout Christian who is committed to fighting for better healthcare, an end to pointless wars, livable wages, more housing construction to restore the American Dream, and banning Congressional stock trading.
The Bush family still wields a great deal of influence in Texas, so this announcement is sure to cause political shockwaves. If you're a Republican who genuinely loves this country, it's time to cross the aisle and vote for James Talarico.
Please ❤️ and share to thank Neil Bush!

Trump engaged in a thoughtful, extended conversation with—nothingness. He suddenly stopped, waved, saluted, offered greetings, and chatted for a bit with the empty space. 😁🤭
The cameraman deliberately zoomed out to show that there was absolutely no one to be seen for hundreds of meters in any direction.
Apparently, Trump received a visit from the very same "invisible person"—the kind of encounter he had previously mocked Joe Biden for supposedly having.

WOW! Elon Musk is panicking in Texas — and everybody knows why. He's dumped $158 MILLION to save Ken Paxton, funneled to a Texas PAC the very next day. This was never about Texas. It's about Elon.
He said it himself, on camera: if Trump lost, "How long do you think my prison sentence is going to be?" He needs Republicans holding Congress so nobody investigates him — not the contracts, not the billions your tax money pays his companies, not any of it.
When Elon says "America is at stake," understand what he means: HE is America. His freedom is at stake. Yours never crossed his mind.
And here's what nobody wants to say out loud: Elon doesn't believe. He said it himself — "While I'm not a particularly religious person… I'm probably a cultural Christian." A costume. Not a believer. The faith was never real to him.
So how did so much of the Christian faith fall head over heels for a man who openly says he doesn't believe in it? Because it was never about God. It's the oldest play in American politics: wave the Bible with one hand, build a taller fence with the other. They don't care about God. They care about power. And keeping it.
Now look at who he's begging Texas to save: Ken Paxton. Indicted on felony securities fraud. Impeached by his own Republican-led House. His own top aides blew the whistle — Texas taxpayers paid $3.3 million to settle their case. His wife of 38 years filed for divorce "on biblical grounds," accusing him of adultery in the filing. He's ducked the debates. And he's trailing James Talarico in poll after poll.
And when the "God said forgive" crowd shows up — save it. God also understands voting AGAINST corruption and adultery. God saw the indictment. The impeachment. The $3.3 million of taxpayer money. The divorce filed on biblical grounds. God didn't tell you to excuse that. Your pastor did. There's a difference.
This win won't just be against Paxton. It'll be a win against YOU, Mr. Musk.
Texas is voting RIGHT NOW.
VOTE LIKE HE FEARS IT.
