Ernie Johnson was my neighbor. We never really spoke. But many times growing up, I'd see him pushing his son Michael around the neighborhood. Michael had Duchenne muscular dystrophy, a disease that slowly takes away your muscles. Ernie and his wife adopted him from Romania and gave him the best life. No cameras. No crowd. Just a dad showing up. His example said everything I needed to see as a kid. Now I try to be that kind of dad for mine. Congrats on an incredible career, Ernie. Thank you for your example. 🐐
It’s time. 🤟🤟🏾🤟🏻🤟🏽

I think maybe the right move for the Big XII on the crowd chants would be to eliminate the fines and just go straight to a warning and then a 15-yard penalty. But then Kalani declines the penalty if it ever were enforced. Then there are no stupid fines, unlikely they'll violate out of desire not to hurt the team, if it ever did come up we decline to not gain an advantage or further strain feelings. That most likely eliminates the issue. I'm guessing, given the diplomat that Kalani is, he'd be up for just declining the penalty. Hopefully it would never come up since fans wouldn't want to risk hurting their team.

Brother Pratt bringing it! Orson and Parley P would be so proud. (candidly no idea if they are related)
Cooper Pratt has a hit in 6 straight at-bats 🤯 This is the most by a rookie in the World Series!

I had the good fortune of coaching her in soccer on my daughter's team. They would have been 12 or 13 years old at the time. You could tell right away that she was a great athlete and competitor. But beyond that she and her family are wonderful people. So excited for her, her sister, and their whole fam.
Welcome back, Kailey. 🥹🤍

.@ASU offensive lineman Jalen Klemm’s future was bright, until a health scare no one saw coming threatened his life. Determined to overcome, Klemm relied on his faith and began the hard work of re-learning how to play football.

Fun to make a cameo on @BYUSportsNation . Even more air time than Dennis Pitta. ;-)

I know I suggested we chill, but a 10am start time to the rivalry game? Time to unite and riot. ha ha. Ugh. What is this Mighty Might football? ;-)
Ute and BYU fans. Maybe chill a little and follow the lead of your head coaches. Both teams are great AND populated with imperfect 18-24 year-olds. Many of you are at the maturity level of 13 year-olds so consider just chilling and model the behavior you’d like to see rather than tearing down. Y’all have to have family or friends who cheer for the other side. Think of them before you lose your cool. Peace.✌️ Oh, and Go Cougs!

If we're going to play at the same time as little league games, the team moms for both teams better bring orange wedges for half time snacks.

If you ever feel like life is moving too fast and you want it to slow down and every minute to be more like an hour. Just get on a stair climber. Holy crap, it can’t have only been less than 7 minutes so far.

I’m cooked. 30 minutes is enough on this inhumane torture device.

Note: I myself am often at that 13 year-old maturity level. I actually had a crappy night of sleep last night after the loss. So funny that the result of a football game played by kids the age of my kids somehow stresses me out enough to lose sleep. Ha ha. But I love ‘em. Win or lose. And I get that Utes are equally fully emotionally invested.

Feels like our football team’s version of the UAB loss in basketball.

Tough to understand the coaching decision to not do 2 minute offense and try to go down for the game winning field goal. You get a goal line stand and instead of trying to use the last two minutes you try to kill them despite the opponent having time outs. So you find yourself subject to a potentially game winning field goal the other way and over time that is a veritable coin flip most times. Most issues I have were players making mistakes, but that seemed like a major head scratcher coaching decision.
