If you're using the WattCycle expansion cable with a Delta 2 Max, it has to go in extra battery port 1. Port 2 won't work with that cable, so leave it for the alternator charger or an EcoFlow expansion battery. I show the connection at 18:30: youtu.be/u_9nrRiGS_s?t=1110

My solar panels arrived with a big gouge in the shipping package. I opened it while the driver was still there and checked the panels before signing. The packaging was damaged, but the panels were fine. Don't assume one means the other. 5:40 youtu.be/O5ClVBsdzvA?t=340

DON'T GET RIPPED OFF when it comes to power backup! youtu.be/u_9nrRiGS_s The most popular video on my channel right now and for good reason! I walk through a cost-effective setup you can build on as your needs and budget grow! No buying something just to replace it later.

You may not need to replace your old solar panels when you buy a different set. The DELTA 2 Max has two independent inputs, so each set can use its own port. Check cold-weather voltage and current against the port limits. Separate ports, not a splitter. youtu.be/u_9nrRiGS_s?t=400

Plugging a generator into a power station doesn't necessarily clean up its power. In AC bypass, the input can feed your appliances directly instead of going through the inverter. Check that before relying on it to protect electronics. I explain it here: youtu.be/u_9nrRiGS_s?t=1074

What happens when a big appliance switches off while your plug-in solar is running? I unplugged a 1,000W load in my EZ1/APmeter test. Export briefly jumped before the inverter ramped down. When comparing kits, ask how quickly they react. youtu.be/WLAot3TAZkc?t=68

Only cleaning your mini-split's filters? My coil looked pretty clean, but the blower wheel was filthy. I cleaned it without removing the fan, using a wash bag to catch the mess. Cut power and protect the electronics first. Here's the walkthrough: youtu.be/Zi6pJkK18B0

Want to use more solar and less wall power? In the Bluetti app, check Working Mode > PV Priority. I use it on my Elite 300 to run my mini split from solar and battery, with grid backup below a set battery level. Check your settings before buying more hardware.

Leaving the AC outlets switched on uses battery power even with nothing plugged in. In my Elite 400 test, it dropped from full to 96% in about 12 hours with the inverter on. That's worth remembering when you're saving power for an outage. youtu.be/X6GbHQtrras?t=668

A 12V battery can still push enough current through a short circuit to melt wires. That's why I use a fuse even when the battery has its own protection. Check the fuse's voltage rating too, especially if you later move to 48V. youtu.be/epSJ0J1LP9U?t=188

If you're looking at your first power station, it helps to see what happens when you actually use it. In my Elite 400 review, I test battery capacity, charging, and even pull the wall plug while it's powering my computer. youtu.be/X6GbHQtrras

My beginner 48V build uses a golf-cart-style battery for backup power. I show how the separate components work together and compare it with a portable power station, so you can see what you gain and what gets more complicated. youtu.be/bcXmFFIzG0M

If you've wanted to build a little solar system but aren't sure what all the pieces do, I walk through a beginner 12V setup here. I started with 12V myself, and this shows how the battery, solar charging, and inverter work together. youtu.be/epSJ0J1LP9U
