I think what sets Champions apart is that its not a "new" game. Its sort of just a migration platform to move players of said game to a different space for PvP from future PvE releases. Does that mean infinite life? No But imo it means a generally more stable future.

I know how to play just about anything but Perish with enough competency to get to Champion tier or win a local or limitless. I just find specifically right this moment Ive been only finding my groove with balance.

I grew up with og GSC and Johto is my least favorite region. I found myself replaying Blue way more than Silver and when Gen 3 dropped I never went back to the Game Boy Color games.

The game is scaled well enough around them that they don't feel particularly bad in that playthrough though. Most Hoenn mons have the bad Hoenn stat spreads so they all feel fine against each other.

I'm not a fan of the Gen 4 games for the 30 fps battles and idk the general vibe of DPPt and HGSS never worked for me. The level curve of Johto plus a general dislike of Gen 4 is why I'm not a fan of HGSS overall. But I think its weird that people act like it ruins the game.

After a couple months of mostly sticking to a rigid stream and upload schedule I've decided that this much pushing for content isn't compatible with how much time I need for my career and personal time. Will still be making content but gonna slow down again before I burn out.
