Crazy to see Christians appealing to The Torah for the morality of the death penalty. Christ in the Torah calls it an abomination to eat pork. He says it is a sin unto death to break the sabbath and that you shall be cut off for missing the passover. Why do you only appeal to torah when it fits your argument ?

People are coming to the truth slowly but surely. One step at a time.
Comedian Dusty Slay has an interesting biblical reason for not eating pork or shellfish.
He notes that the animals the bible tells us not to eat are actually more toxic for the human body, and/or are designed to be filters for the earth.
“Pigs will eat just about anything … Pigs don't sweat so they just have a lot of toxins … Shrimp and oysters and scallops and catfish, they're all kind of filters for the water.”

This is the type of stuff that doesn’t exist in scripture but people believe in any way because they wanna be disobedient

If you’re in Christ, you’re in the Sabbath permanently - you are profaning the blood of Jesus going back to the Law.

Romans 8:7 gives us a simple definition of hostility toward God:
“The mind that is set on the flesh is hostile to God, for it does not submit to God’s law.”
So that would mean the opposite of hostility toward God is submission to his law.

One of my favorite Messianic Jewish scholars has just signed on to write the commentary on Matthew for the Messianic Jewish Application Commentary series, published by my company, @PronomianLLC. I’m overjoyed at how God is bringing this series together and the awesome scholars he is calling to be part of it.

Some people talk about “the law being a shadow” as though the goal were to separate Jesus from it.
They want the Messiah, but not the shape that announced Him.
They want the substance, but resent the shadow it casts.
But when you see a shadow approaching, you do not hate the shadow.
You rejoice, because it means the one casting it is near.
The Sabbath is a shadow of His rest.
Passover is a shadow of His redemption.
The appointed times are shadows of His work.
The sacrifices, priesthood, and sanctuary are shadows of cleansing, holiness, mediation, and drawing near to God.
The shadow is not the enemy of the reality.
It is evidence of the reality.
It reveals the outline of the One who is coming.
So when Paul says these things are “a shadow of things to come, but the substance belongs to Messiah,” he is not teaching us to tear Messiah away from Torah.
He is teaching us to recognize Messiah through it.
You do not honor the One casting the shadow by despising the shadow.
And you certainly do not prove that you love Jesus by trying to cut Him loose from everything that reveals His shape.
The shadow should be loved because it means the King is approaching.

There seems to be a recurring theme of believers attacking other believers for their desire to follow God's law, suggesting heresy.
Nevermind the obvious issue with labeling obedience as heresy.
What exactly would the penalty be for following the law? Hell?
Are they suggesting grace for everything except obedience?
All while engaged in needless arguments (2 Timothy 2:23), calling names (Matthew 5:22), and displaying some of the most unloving hypocrisy (Matthew 7:3-9) I've ever seen.
Seems to me that following God's law and loving others seem to go hand in hand.
If you love Me, you will keep My commandments.

They have made no distinction between the holy and the profane, and they have not taught the difference between the unclean and the clean; and they hide their eyes from My Sabbaths, and I am profaned among them. - God

“These men cannot prove the things they accuse me of doing. “But I admit that I follow the Way, which they call a cult. I worship the God of our ancestors, and I firmly believe the Jewish law and everything written in the prophets. I have the same hope in God that these men have, that he will raise both the righteous and the unrighteous. Because of this, I always try to maintain a clear conscience before God and all people.”
