We were honored to welcome H.E. Ambassador Ibrahim Olabi (Syria's Ambassador to the UN), Mr. Jacob Fisch (Director of Jewish Heritage at the ALIPH Foundation), Dr. Suhail Zavaro, Dr. Jill Joshowitz, and Rabbi Asher Lopatin.
Bringing together more than 150 Syrian Jews alongside scholars, rabbis, and community leaders, the evening centered on the history of Dura-Europos. With traditional Syrian music and kosher Syrian food, the night was a powerful celebration of the shared heritage that connects us all.
Syria's heritage belongs to all of us. This event was about coming together to preserve the importance of our cultural heritage, and working to protect it for the future.
