The deadline for delivering IHR amendments to all the countries which would allow to proceed them in May 2024 at the General assembly HAS PASSED! According to article 55 it need to be delivered at least 4 months before the General Assembly. As the document is not ready not has it been delivered this amendments cannot happen! Establishing sanctions for violations: Effective sanctions and penalties should be put in place for EU officials who violate these rules. European Commission president Ursula von der Leyen. She starts her speech by reminding Davos delegates that last week’s WEF global risks report showed that misinformation and disinformation are biggest short-term risks. These risks are limiting leaders’ ability to tackle the big global challenges we are facing, von der Leyen warns.
