All these apparent all pros/pro bowlers… and yet there is no QB in history that is more vital to their team winning or losing than Lamar Jackson. He alone accounts for 11 points a game (and likely to be more after the season ends). No one carries more than Lamar Jackson

Imagine telling someone in 2023 that Sam Darnold would be getting compared to Justin Herbert as an insult.
Sam Darnold if JSN wasn’t on his team

Same @getnickwright who had a gut feeling that Lamar played his last down for the Ravens 4 years ago and that the Ravens should have traded him for Justin Fields.
"It's just a gut feeling. I think Lamar Jackson is the Week 1 starting quarterback next year for the Miami Dolphins." @colincowherd & @getnickwright discuss Jackson's future with the Ravens

Again I will continue to say because you all let media get away with this against Russell Wilson everyone else was vulnerable to same agenda. They literally didn’t even report on Russ playing with torn labrum in 2022 and that was used as pretext to write him out HOF and league.
I feel bad for Lamar Jackson and Jalen Hurts. The media is gonna use this as a nasty way to take jabs out these dudes in the offseason. It was already toxic but it’s gonna get even nastier.

Ding Ding Ding. Lamar will be in Baltimore…Steve B and B is for Billions, will make sure Lamar stays. Lamar brought Louisville to Baltimore. TV-distribution data show Louisville carried 14 of 15 Ravens regional broadcasts, more than virtually any market outside Baltimore/DC and
Steve Bisciotti has watched the team value go from 2.3 Billion to 8.2 Billion with Lamar on the team.. He will absolutely fire the GM before letting 8 play elsewhere..

Notice the same ppl pushing this narrative pushed this same narrative 2021/2022 and even said that Lamar Jackson's best days of football were behind him then as well. Isn't that right @getnickwright
To question Lamar Jackson's future with the Ravens is asinine. He is an MVP caliber player. Ravens will do whatever it takes to sign him to an extension. This narrative that he played his 'last' snap as a Raven reeks of desperateness. It shouldn't even be a discussion.

Even ignoring impact on winning 3/4 games as a starter, this alone is why ppl saying Ravens shouldn't pay Lamar every penny are a joke and why the Ravens front office would be foolish not to pay him everything he wants esp now that he finally has all the leverage for the 1st time

Aaron Rodgers is 43 years old and still playing football. Lamar is a winner who genuinely loves the game, and I realistically believe he has another 8–10+ years of football ahead of him. Even as he gets older and loses some of that elite speed, he’ll still be quicker than most QBs in the league. This idea that our championship window is closed is ridiculous. Stop with that talk.

The Ravens have lost their edge, but they can’t afford to lose Lamar. 👀 @PriscoCBS says Baltimore needs to keep building around it’s star QB. #justfootball

100% believe this because Lamar even with two lost steps will be as fast/faster than most athletic QBs in their prime maintaining gravity at the LOS combined with being even more advanced than he is now as a passer. Lamar 3.0 can still walk down Brady as GOAT but not with this OL
If I told y’all that Lamar has just now entered his quarterbacking prime, would y’all believe me? Well, that’s what I believe based on what I’ve seen. He’s no longer in his athletic prime but his arm and mind are sharp. If Steve picks EDC over this guy, fold the franchise.

Your dog whistles with Lamar Jackson have always been loud. Just Stand on it next time, don’t go deleting tweets.
Deleting my Lamar post... Didn't realize it was such a sensitive subject. Genuinely didn't mean anything by it.

Also a reminder that Justin Herbert has as many years as a Tier 1 QB on those anonymous polls by coaches/execs as Prime Russ and Lamar Jackson have COMBINED (2). And both have received far more slander in their career despite never having a season close to this bad.
Justin Herbert is on pace with one of the worst QB seasons in recent memory

Chargers/Panthers/Bucs those basically would have to be the games. It's not as impossible as I thought when you look at that schedule. But this team could easily be first team to take an L to chargers and season could be over before Thanksgiving with Panthers game.
If LJ is out 6 weeks and the @Ravens can get to 7-7 they will have a chance. Fagnano with reps can be effective.

The issue isn't the injury lasting the rest of the season, the issue is that it would take an absolute miracle for this team to be above 2-4 if Lamar had to miss 6 weeks with this defense and Oline.
Here’s the last 17 years of QB thumb surgeries and their return times. Season isn’t necessarily over for Lamar Jackson

Lamar Jackson has 8 documented injuries since 2021. All 8 of those injuries have occurred behind the line of scrimmage and either in the pocket or while attempting to escape pressure within the pocket. These dang running QBs are just so dang injury prone.
Lamar is arguably the greatest running QB ever and a two-time MVP. He’s also a great example of why teams get nervous about running QBs and injuries. He’s always hurt.

If I’m Lamar, I demand a trade. Stop giving incompetent people chances. The gloves are off, I’m sorry. The ravens deserve NOTHING until the house is cleaned.
Pains me to say this but… If I’m Lamar I’m telling EDC / Steve B straight up if you don’t invest in a real offensive line im outa here.

Lamar would be crazy to sign another extension in Baltimore. If I’m him, I have my sights set on reuniting with Mike Mac in Seattle come 2028.

The Lamar Jackson discourse is insane because Lamar get TWO pressure in his GRILL on the opening play because the pass pro sucks and he randomly gets his hand hit.... But this is a Lamar issue.
Lamar Jackson heads to the locker room after his first pass attempt with an apparent hand injury.
