Ranked being 4 separate playlists on Gears E Day is such a dumb idea. The game’s player base is already not that high since it’s not on PlayStation. I’m already having to queue for minutes and minutes to get a ranked match, this was supposed to be Xbox’s hot new game.

Thank god, I was getting so sick of the you have to beat the game once trend. It’s ok with something like Ninja Gaiden, but with a long rpg please give me all the options right away.

Just finished Fortune’s Weave after 215 hours. Loved it and it’s definitely my game of the year. Wanted to give a little review. Part 1 = fantastic, I’m glad it was 80% of the playtime. I loved how the 4 characters and their conflicting views and purposes coexisted in the tournament arc. I thought every lord had an amazing cast of characters in their party, besides maybe Cai but I did really enjoy his story with his parents. Fabio is the goat Part 2 and 3 brought the game down a bit for me. The main villains were just not interesting, and characters either became one note or got shoved in the background, in favor of a really uninteresting storyline imo. The game had such strong main characters in part 1, and they were replaced by Eshmel, who just felt like a nothing silent protag. Those parts had their moments, seeing all the characters post time skip was one of my favorite moments in a game, besides that though the quality dropped a bit for me. So I can’t really say it’s one of my favorite games ever. It is amazing though and I’m looking forward to the dlc stories with the 4 non playable lords.

Finished all 4 paths of Fortune's Weave. Dietrich's ended up being my favorite, which I did not expect at all. Fabio is the coolest character in the game, I know a lot of people share that take. He's just the goat. Part 3 has been awesome seeing all the characters post time skip, especially since I got everyone to part 3 besides Ninae. I literally forgot Ninae died in the one route I recruited her, might go back and save her idk lol.

Fire Emblem twitter is the first single player twitter I’ve seen that’s like a fighting game one. New game bad, thing that’s really well made and masterful is actually slop. Game that’s now old game is actually top tier, maybe top 3 in the franchise, even though it was garbage when new. I didn’t pick up on this cycle and it made me skip Engage lol. Im glad I picked up Fortune’s Weave, fe twitter hates it but it’s just one of the best games ever made.

Just finished Cai's path in Fortune's Weave. It was so peak, can't believe there's so much game left.

It’s interesting seeing people who don’t like the game because of this. I completely understand the point of view, but for me it all works. My only complaint is I think gift giving is too tedious. Gathering them, scrolling the character list remembering who wants space rocks and who just wants to get drunk, then it seems like even 99% of appropriate gifts don’t give as much progress as a meal? Like I’m not buying a 1000 coin item for your progress bar to build 1/8th of a level. That could use some tuning for sure.

Fortune’s Weave is a 10/10 for me so far. I was looking forward to it more than any single player game coming out, and it’s delivering.
