You don't see people end up like that in say the top 20%, although you do get delayed marriage, which means that upper-middle women able to choose don't prefer harems to sub-Chad monogamy. The fall off happened in the bottom 50%, which likely means a Chad harem is preferrable ...

That's not even a second choice beyond marrying super Chad. Now if you were to argue male wage stagnation and distribution, I think you'd have a stronger TFR point. But that doesn't relate to WoT.
