Lovecraft tried & tried to warn us. Now SpaceX will explore it and bring the apocalypse.
A hole on the Moon just turned out to be the front door to a 50 km tunnel.
Japan’s Kaguya orbiter first spotted it. A pit about 50 metres wide and 50 metres deep, sitting in the Marius Hills on the Moon’s near side.
Then JAXA pointed the probe’s radar underground. The echoes came back with something huge: a lava tube roughly 100 metres wide, running about 50 km, and still intact. No collapse.
Scientists think it was carved by volcanic activity around 3.5 billion years ago. There may even be ice or water locked in the rocks inside.
That’s why JAXA thinks it could become a lunar base. Shelter from radiation, micrometeorites and brutal temperature swings, all built in.

My all-time favorite comic series. An amazing story. Series of stories, really.
Loyally following Wendy and Richard's masterpiece since #16 of the Marvel Reissues, way back in the 80s. I was hooked from that issue, and never let up.
Tyleet is a gentle Wolfrider, the daughter of Redlance and Nightfall. She is convinced peace with humans, her tribe's traditional enemies, is possible.

Incredibly rare crescent Moon, Venus, and Jupiter (along with its Galilean moons) rising over Stonehenge 🌙🗿
I might have posted this before, but that's fine. It's worth posting again. This dude is inhuman.
At least 3 parts at once.

On to singer #4.
That's a shame. Floor is an absolute force of nature. Nightwish was amazing with her.
Or maybe this is my favorite song off 'Hold Your Fire'.
So many great choices.

Sharon Osbourne just said "I agree 10000%" to James Hetfield telling the Sphere crowd Metallica isn’t here to push outside bullshit. They’re here so you can forget the outside shit.
Real musicians are finally calling out the woke plastic performers. About time!
Metallica. James. Sharon. Fuck yeah. 🤘🏻

No one had more of an impact on my teenage gaming life as this man. Playing Duke Nukem 3D with my friends, building maps, and learning the basics of video game and level design through it have stayed with me in my creative life ever since. Rest easy, Levelord.
