Today @SHSOurHouse we celebrated in our Academies. One teacher per academy was also awarded a penguin for taking risks with their instruction while working to #bebetter! Sometimes the first penguin gets eaten (fails) and sometimes it gets the fish (succeeds).
@SHSOurHouse we try to ensure that ourselves, our staff, and our students work to constantly #bebetter. Things like this note from a student to their AP reminds us that the “push” is worth it.

Starting this year, @SHSOurHouse is building an art program (we haven’t had one for over 20 years). Today students worked on a single perspective drawing of their dream bedroom.
