📌 Day 1,702 of the full-scale war Yesterday, a further 300 kilograms of dog food and 100 kilograms of cat food were delivered to the “Love and tenderness“ animal shelter in the Odesa region. On 29 September, Russian shelling claimed the lives of 7 dogs and 15 cats, whilst a fire destroyed all their food and medicine supplies. We also delivered 101 kilograms of pet food to military personnel in the Donetsk, Mykolaiv and Kharkiv regions, who are looking after 14 cats, 7 dogs, 10 kittens and a puppy. Animals were neutered and microchipped at three shelters: ▫️ at “Pegasus” in the Dnipropetrovsk region — 93 dogs and 116 cats; ▫️ at “Dreams in the Palms” in the Dnipropetrovsk region — 24 dogs and 6 cats; ▫️ at “Novyi Svit in the Mykolaiv region — 34 dogs, 37 cats and 4 nutrias. UAnimals volunteer Vladyslava Shylo distributed 340 kilograms of pet food and 215 veterinary supplies in the Kharkiv region. We are truly in awe of the courage and big hearts of these people. We also provided advice on what to do if a pet goes missing. Thank you to each and every one of you who supports us and helps us carry out our work. Together, we are a force that saves lives ❤️‍🩹

This support is crucial for the frontline communities, as they have no vet clinics left, and their supplies are unstable and costly. Donate to our PayPal [email protected] to help us continue bringing vets and food where they are most needed ❤️‍🩹 2/2

📌 Day 1,700 of the full-scale war Yesterday, we delivered 300 kilograms of dog food and 100 kilograms of cat food to the Loving Hearts shelter in Velykodolynske, Odesa region. The shelter was hit by Russian shelling; a direct strike on one of the buildings killed 7 dogs and 15 cats, while a subsequent fire destroyed all stocks of food and medicine. There are currently 150 animals remaining at the shelter that need our support. We also delivered 28 kilograms of food to military personnel in the Dnipropetrovsk region who are caring for 4 cats, 8 dogs, and 5 puppies. Thanks for your support!

Meet our patients in a village on the south of Ukraine. These precious animals wouldn’t get vet care otherwise, as there are no vets left in their village. So we keep coming back to help. You can support our efforts by donating to our PayPal [email protected]

We sterilized 30 animals in just one day at Mriya v dolonyakh shelter. These cats and dogs will live for longer without fights, STIs and giving birth to kittens/pups uncontrollably. Sterilization is a non-negotiable, and we together with Affordable Sterilization team continue doing it for free thanks to your donations 💙

📌 Day 1,698 of the full-scale war Yesterday, we sent 24 kilograms of food to the soldiers who are caring for 12 cats at their posts in the Dnipropetrovsk and Sumy regions. We are infinitely grateful to the defenders who protect us every day and care for animals even under the most difficult conditions. We also delivered another 250 kilograms of food to the Friend Forever shelter in the Ternopil region, which takes in animals rescued from the front lines. Evacuation marks the beginning of the animals’ journey toward a safer life. However, injuries, the trauma of shelling, and illnesses take their toll, so cats and dogs require long-term veterinary care. Please support the fundraiser for the treatment of injured and sick animals from the front lines: uanimals.org/en/zbir/fundrai… Thank you to everyone who supports our work and helps save lives 🫂

Laura was chained and abandoned in Izyum, Kharkiv region. If not for the soldier who found her, she would have died to starvation or shellings. Now Laura lives in Dim vryatovanykh tvaryn “Feya” and is slowly learning to trust people again.

These animals are heading to safer regions of Ukraine to their new and not-so-new families who are waiting for them. Our animal rescuers Oleksandr and Manya are driving fast and often at night to avoid the drone attacks. All for the safety and better future of animals 🐾

“During rotations, our paramedics started bringing animals they found abandoned at the front to the base. That’s how the ‘Dormitory for Animals from the Front’ gradually appeared,” say soldiers. Many soldiers care for animals left behind near the frontline. Yesterday, we sent 81 kg of food to Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia regions for soldiers caring for 24 animals. Thank you for helping us support them❤️

Malysh, a dog from Dnipropetrovsk region, was taken to a clinic in critical condition with a severe spinal injury and bullet wounds. We covered his X-ray, but sadly, he did not survive💔 Hundreds of animals in frontline areas are still waiting for help, and some of them are looked after by soldiers. We sent 103 kg of food to soldiers caring for 16 cats, 14 kittens, 9 dogs and a puppy on the frontlines of Dnipropetrovsk and Chernihiv regions.

This is what life near the frontline looks like. This stray dog lives in Novomykolaivka in Zaporizhzhia region. He manages to survive only thanks to those few locals who stayed. We send them food and treatments for abandoned and stray animals. 1/2

This Cats’ Day, we wish there were no stray cats, and all of them had a safe home. You can make this dream one step closer by adopting a cat from your local shelter. And if you can’t adopt, cat shelters often need volunteers both for regular and once-in-a-while help 🐾 📸 @SchnellJay

Manya and Oleksandr are driving fast under anti-drone nets. They are evacuating animals from the frontline. Manya says, “Are we stressed and tired? Yes. Are the animals scared? Also yes. Will they get a chance for a better life soon? Yes”. And this is the reason why we keep going
