Congratulations to Angela Martin and Trevor Nesbit who were awarded best paper at the 14th annual CITRENZ conference. Their paper is titled Embracing the use of Generative AI in a First Year Information Systems Course.

Last month we hosted the annual Programming Contest for Girls. This contest involved 42 teams of year 10 students competing nationally. Congratulations to Papanui High School (1st place nationally), St Andrews College (2nd place) and Burnside High School (4th place)
Congratulations to Joseph Grace, Nicholas Grace, and Issac Siu -3rd place overall and first in New Zealand at the South Pacific International Collegiate Programming Contest. Also, to Cameron Wu, Alex Widogast, and Luke Garside for 2nd place within the New Zealand teams.
