Looks like some pythium foliar blight appearing on some fairway areas. Small black spots that appear to be expanding with an abundance of mycelium. Spray out tomorrow on fairway surfaces. @UConnTurfpath

I have to commend the @MaineFalmouth for removing old language and inserting #GolfBMPs to exempt golf from their proposed pesticide ban. Maine golf BMPs are comprehensive science based practices to achieve playability standards, while promoting sound environmental practices.

Assistants and turf interns, please pay attention, because this eventually happens at every facility. Get familiar with basic mechanics and daily mower set up. It will pay off some day for sure. In my first year, my mechanic was in a motorcycle accident on Labor Day.
