When I moved here in 2013 the west village was for 90 year olds, celebrities, and fifth generation New Yorkers. It was super quiet and was the perfect place to get totally blazed and walk around alone feeling like you were in some gas lamp lit 1800s spooky New York. I’ll never forgive people for making it influencer line culture hell.
In Austin with my wife (from California, went to BC) and introduced the concept of, “The Average SEC Couple”

— A $6.3M retention payment to CEO Scott O’Neil in June 2026, just months before bankruptcy
— O’Neil appears to have been earning $214K a month ($107K bi weekly) in regular payroll earnings
— $9.4M (settlement + bonus) paid to Greg Norman in September 2025 almost a year after he had already left his role
— Listed under its assets & real property, LIV says they owned tons of website domains with anti-LIV descriptions

JJ Spaun is a massive fan of the TV show Clarkson’s farm. His wife was even wearing a Jeremy Clarkson mask when he won the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth in September.
JJ has now posted on Instagram a photo with his family at Diddly Squat Farm and has also announced he has donated a portion of his winnings to the Addington Fund, who help farming families in times of need through housing and emergency relief.
JJ delivered a fantastic press conference after his victory at the DP World Tour’s flagship event and he’s proving to be a fitting champion.

Yeah, this commercial paid for by the @nycedc and linking to an nyc.gov/fast website featuring the Mayor also touting what he sees as positives of the ballot measures must be illegal and should be investigated. Vote NO on all 5. This is a power grab by the Mayor at expense of public input and scrutiny.

You Can See Everything, while completely unremarkable in every way (it’s reality television), did supply me with an opportunity to lean over to my friend and whisper “this is why I left California” when, two hours into the drably staged, monotone Kabuki of fake autism (actually substance abuse and narcissism, but the most boring varieties of both), the monotone, fake-autistic Nathan Fielder marvels at the monotone, fake-autistic Elizabeth Holmes’ feigned inability to understand a simple joke, something I personally had to endure hundreds of times when dealing with this (exceedingly common) strain of Cali-poisoned “savant” whose entire pathology is that they’re just not very bright. A nice little blip of insight wrested from three hours of ketamine-assisted woolgathering I wish I never got involved with in the first place.
