One of our inpatients enjoyed spending time in our garden with a volunteer, choosing books to read, and making a short trip to M&S this afternoon. Fresh air, social connection and a change of scenery can make a real difference to wellbeing and recovery in hospital 🍃❤️

This morning our Library Room was the setting for a special birthday celebration for one of our patients at @UHSFT 🎉we are so pleased to offer a space away from the wards where patients can create memories with their loved ones, even during a hospital stay ❤️

Our Patient and Family Garden at @UHSFT is looking beautiful at the moment thanks to our amazing volunteer gardener, Anne! The Patient and Family Garden is open 24/7 and is a lovely outdoor space to find a moment of calm in the busy hospital environment 🍃❤️
