Starting the New Year off right with another new paper 🤩
Another paper to end 2024! @BrendaCStraka @adam_stanaland & I show that kids use mutual intentions (I want to join a group + that group wants me to join) for gender & race group membership! BUT this is earlier (age 3) for gender & later (age 5) for race onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/…
New paper alert‼️
New paper from our @NSF Collaborative grant testing the minimal group paradigm across racial groups in the US! Minimal group effects hold but exploratory analyses show stronger effects with older kids & White kids @BrendaCStraka @yarrowdunham #psychology
