Today was probably one of the most interesting inservice days I've experienced thanks to @G_Armstrong21 for sharing his story. Bought a copy of " the young team" last week and very much looking forward to reading it!
What a wonderful year I've had at @HillparkSec. Thank you to the whole staff, the best team @HillparkTech and the amazing pupils who have made my year. Gutted is the only word that can express how I feel about leaving but so thankful for the experience.
Another emotional goodbye to seniors as they set off for study leave!
It has been such a delight getting to know them all and working with you through WW and graphics.
I am so proud of all the work each of them have achieved and wish them the best when exams come!
Thank you to everyone that came tonight. It was great to see the interest in Design & Technology. Hopefully we get to see you all again next year in our subjects! It could be your work being displayed next time 😁 @HillparkTech @HillparkSec
"Miss can we try making mine a bit different?"
Yes we can! I live for students challenging themselves and exploring new skills.

S3 pupil has completed the spaghetti measure and is close to finishing his turnery for the kitchen roll holder.
First attempt at rolling a bead and the results have made me a proud teacher 😁 @HillparkSec @HillparkTech
My gran text this morning to show she had kept these pens I got from an awards ceremony at my high school in 2004.
19 years later and I am now working as a teacher in @HillparkSec @HillparkTech

Happy Friday!
Miss Wallace wanted to proudly show off the work her S3 class had been doing on the lathe.
Excited for the end results!

Starting our new Twitter with pictures of the incredible Gus meeting some of our S1 pupils! 🐶🐾
It has been great to welcome back students and see our new S1 settle in across the school.
Had a warm welcome from my new post at @HillparkSec over the last 2 days ☺️
Looking forward to meeting my new classes as of tomorrow!
Overwhelmed students took the time to thank me for this last year and offer best wishes on my journey. @HillheadHS I'm grateful (emotional) for the experience and bonds with pupils and staff. I've accepted a contract with Glasgow so this isn't goodbye but see you later 🤞.
P7 Visit today. Having a competition making different paper airplanes and seeing who could reach the furthest distance.
