A simple gesture that saves lives!
Since cholera hit their village of Wayambo, Chancelle & her little sister Graca have made a habit of washing their hands with soap & water at home.
Their parents have taught them that good hand hygiene helps prevent many diseases.

In Bétokomia, in the Paoua sub-prefecture, #learning in good conditions also means being able to count on a meal at school.
I had the pleasure of accompanying the WFP Acting Executive Director @WFPChief on a visit to Bétokomia School, where our efforts complement each other for the benefit of children.
#UNICEF contributes by building classrooms and providing school kits, while #WFP supports the school feeding programme.
Together, we are creating a more supportive environment for learning, school attendance and children’s well-being. Because every child deserves to be in school, to learn and to grow in the best possible conditions.
