As Zimbabwe officially assumes the Chairmanship of the 21-nation trade bloc for the 2026โ2027 term, the nation will spearhead regional policy innovations to eliminate non-tariff trade barriers, accelerate mineral beneficiation, and integrate SMEs into regional value chains across a combined market of over 640 million people.

Better infrastructure means better opportunities for fishers.
Through #ZRBF2, the newly built Kings Camp Cold Chain Facility in Kariba is helping 28 registered fishers aggregate their catch, improve storage and strengthen their bargaining power.
By connecting fishers to larger markets, the initiative is supporting more commercially viable and resilient livelihoods.
