On #WorldPolioDay, let us renew our commitment to a polio free Pakistan. My mother, Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, launched Pakistan’s first nationwide polio campaign in 1994 and administered drops to her own children to break the misconception and fears around the vaccine and its safety.
I urge all parents to open their doors to polio teams and ensure their children receive polio drops during every campaign. Let us support our vaccinators, protect frontline workers and work together until every child is safe from polio.
