As part of USAP Cares Week, the USAP South Texas team volunteered with @ProjectMENDSA in San Antonio, helping clean and prepare donated medical equipment for reuse.
Project MEND, which stands for Medical Equipment Network for those with Disabilities, has been helping individuals with disabilities access medical equipment and assistive technology since 1992. Through its equipment reuse program, donated items are given a second life and made available to people in the community.
Thank you to our South Texas team for giving their time to support Project MEND and the people it serves!

After a week of USAP teams giving back in their communities, what better way to wrap up USAP Cares Week than with our first-ever USAP Cares activity at the Future Leaders in Anesthesia (FLA) Conference?
Future CRNAs spent time giving back with Pop-Up Birthday, a Central Texas nonprofit that creates personalized birthday experiences for children in foster care. Attendees helped put together birthday boxes filled with party supplies and gifts to help make a child’s special day one to remember.
We’re proud to bring USAP Cares to FLA and give future anesthesia professionals an opportunity to make a difference beyond the operating room.

It’s always great to see team members building connections outside of work and creating memories together.
Nearly 140 USAP Maryland team members and their guests gathered at Oriole Park at Camden Yards for the Maryland platform’s annual Day at the Yard. The afternoon included a pregame picnic with family and friends before everyone headed into the ballpark to cheer on the Orioles against the Tampa Bay Rays.
While the Orioles didn’t bring home the win, it was a great opportunity for our Maryland team to spend time together and continue one of the platform’s favorite traditions.

Our North Texas team recently had the opportunity to give back by volunteering with Joseph’s Coat, the clothing closet for The Storehouse.
The team helped organize clothing to support individuals and families in our community.
We’re proud to highlight the many ways our teams came together to give back during USAP Cares Week. Stay tuned for more highlights!
