From Amelia Earhart, the first female aviator to fly solo nonstop across the United States in 1928 to Sarah Thomas, the first woman to officiate in the NFL in 2015, we continue to celebrate the boundaries women have pushed and the history they continue to make.

As Black History Month comes to an end, let us be reminded that every month is a time to celebrate the history and future of black success. At UTRGV we are proud of our black student-athletes who continue to push boundaries and pave ways for future generations!
