#UWSP's Director of Libraries, Mindy King, has been named 2026 Wisconsin Library Association/Demco漏 Librarian of the Year. King was recognized for her tremendous work in guiding the library through the relocation of its 500,000-volume collection to an off-site location while ensuring students and faculty could continue their access while the new Gale and Paul Kirby Library and Student Resource Center was being built. Last month, nearly 300 former #UWSP rugby players celebrated the 50-year anniversary of the men's rugby team. A club built on brotherhood, camaraderie and sportsmanship has continued to attract Pointers since its first match in 1976, even expanding to a women's team in 1993.
