day 30 of 100 : roasted chicken. outline drawn in figma by hand from scratch. colouring done with claude using python plus figma’s plugin api. i used claude to render the colour layer in python using pillow, painting each region of the bird, the golden like breast, the darker legs and wings plus the highlights and shadows. reading the reference photo and mapping those tones onto my outline’s silhouette. since there’s actually no direct way to upload an image into figma from claude’s environment, i redirected the process to encode the result as base64, slice it into 8 strips and inject each one into figma as an image filled rectangle through the plugin api sitting directly under my outline. i had to bring claude in on this one mehn. the idea in my head demanded a certain level of realism i couldn’t hit manually.
