So, upon replaying Nicktoons All Stars Brawl 2 it just really paints a perfect picture of clarity for me. Back in these days everyone was making Smash Bros clones with the Smash series reaching its end with Ultimate and everyone wanted to fill that void. But when they realized there was no money to be made (Multi-Versus) because these companies care way too much about making money over a good product they dropped the fad. Each game got cancelled and others were just left behind because they weren't making money.
But you know another game fad that doesn't make money that companies refuse to drop? Identity Politics. Despite all the layoffs, dead IPs, and companies shut down over this slop-aganda from 2016 to 2026 they CONTINUE to INSIST on injecting this bullshit into our games. And it just goes to show these companies don't really care about us or making money. They just want to push the message and they're willing to sacrifice ANYTHING to FORCE us to accept this bullshit. If this isn't sus to anyone else it's just more proof as to why the gaming community is just as much to blame as any other company out there.
