The final stop of the mission led to Ondore Village, where we met Kakuva, a Community Health Worker. He lives in the community he serves. He is a familiar face, a trusted source of health information and often the link between families and the care they need.

Through @EUinNamibia @eu_echo support, CHW like Kakuva are helping bring essential health and nutrition services closer to vulnerable families. The support strengthens outreach, early identification, referrals and connections to care for people living far from health facilities.

What stayed with the delegation was the power of reaching families early. The impact is real. Sustained investment in Community Health Workers can help ensure that more families are reached, supported and protected when it matters most. 💙
