Yeah this is great and all, but Kent Johnson had just dumped the puck in, so his stick was high from the follow through.
He was trying to turn to protect himself from the hit, which is why the stick turned.
Not picking on Jonathan one bit here, this is an interesting thread with some great points.
However, DYK that nobody on this team has more power-play goals than Big Boss over the last four years? He's also 4th in scoring overall.

Since there's lots of chatter about a possible Voronkov trade today. My 2 cents (as an idiot fan):

“Ben was given oxygen on the flight, regained consciousness and the determination was that the flight needed to be landed back in Salt Lake City.”
“Ben was cleared yesterday to travel back to Pittsburgh. He is back in the building for treatment and further testing today.
