Another busy Iftar in our #TeamUnity youth space. An opportunity for joy, generosity & replenishment. Thanks @CentralSheff, Yusuf & everybody involved for the support. #YouthWork #Community #Sheffield
Thanks MB ‘Smashed & Pulled’ for supplying the 🍕, Yusuf delivering the home cooked food 🥘 & Mr Chai for bringing the tea 🫖
🧵
This week we hosted an Iftar celebration in the youth space next door to the Unity Gym. Great food, great company & a real team effort. Thanks @CentralSheff LAC for supporting this #TeamUnity
A few of our regulars earned their stripes today. You can’t purchase our hoodies. They have to be earned with hard work, consistency & discipline. These boys have that in bundles. Well done lads #TeamUnity @SheffCouncil @HaybeMaleiki @deely_z 💪🏾💪🏼
Big shout out to @HaybeMaleiki & some of our #Broomhall boys who spent their afternoon out clearing snow & gritting roads for others in #Sheffield. Community spirit in action #TeamUnity
Big thanks to @deely_z & @SheffCouncil
for dropping off these winter packs, which we have disrupted to YP & families. It’s getting cold out there 🥶. The hot water bottle/gloves have been a big hit. We’re doing what we can to tackle fuel poverty together this winter #TeamUnity
Our youth sessions have been busy as ever this winter. We’re pleased to offer a safe space for young people to let off steam after school. These box jumps are harder than they look! 📦 Transforming lives one rep at a time #TeamUnity
5: Step 4 - hang the bag. Job done ✔️ We now have a safer and more spacious area for boxing and core #TeamUnity
1: This morning we re-hung the heavy bag 🥊 (the wall bracket has been out of order). We also re organised the core area, creating more room for kettle bell exercises, bag work & core. No ladders, so we had to use some initiative. Here’s how we did it #TeamUnity
