Looked at WellBN's prescribing data last year and while I couldn't dig up anything useful on PB usage - largely, I suspect because low numbers of scripts across a range of different hormone suppressants makes this a needle in a haystack job - I was able to pull some interesting longitudinal data on prescribing patterns for male and female sex hormones.
Important caveats:
1) There's a practice merger in 2022 to be taken into account as this significantly increased the size of the surgery's patient list outside its targeting of services toward people seeking 'gender-affirming' care.
2) The data for female sex hormones doesn't distinguish between scripts issued to natal males and those issued to females as HRT.
I did, however, run a comparison of the age demographics of WellBN other surgeries in its Primary Care Network and the graph, I think, speaks for itself and support view that its prescribing pattern for female hormone is not just down to an influx of menopausal women.
I also used another surgery - St Peter's - to provide a baseline because it had its own gender medicine service during this period.
PSA. A couple of posts have appeared on the #wba hashtag referencing safeguarding complaints to the Premier League.
I asked Grok to assess the account making these seemingly serious allegations and it came up with this.

I was going to say that we can at least be sure there's no AI involvement in this but, having run the question past ChatGPT, I'm now not so sure...

Given that you started with a question posed to an AI, let's use another AI to answer the pertinent question is all this.
Ian Hill, legendary bass player, longest serving member of metal titans, Judas Priest, and life-long Baggie, has sadly been forced to announce his retirement from the band for health reasons. #wba
While our noisy neighbours have played heavily on their connections to local rock and metal greats; Black Sabbath (Villa), Led Zeppelin (Wolves) and ELO (Blues), we, for reasons I genuinely cannot fathom, have never made anything our own links to Ian and Judas Priest. Ian doesn't even merit a mention on the 'famous fans' page of our club website, an oversight I'd hope the @wba admin will be correcting in the very near future.
I've posted on here before that I strongly believe that recognition of our beloved club's links with Ian and Judas Priest is long overdue. We should be, at the very least, be marking his retirement by inviting him and his family to the Hawthorns as an honoured guest of the club and, of course, choosing one of the band's classics to become a regular feature of the pre-match playlist at our home games...
...although, out of deference to Adrian Goldberg, who appears to find AC/DC a bit much, maybe not 'Painkiller'.
Have a happy retirement, Ian, and one that affords you many more opportunities to join us at the shrine.

There's quite a lot we could do to build on our US connections....

Albion reimagined US sports style - concepts for a legends range of baseball, gridiron, ice hockey and basketball shirts. #wba
Let's try to lighten the mood a bit. #wba
On Friday, Oxford United launched their 'campus collection', reimiagining their traditional home kit as US-style sports shirt.
Less than an hour after the launch they had to quickly bin the whole exercise and take the collection off sale for reasons that I'll let you Google but, notwithstanding the avoidable problem that torpedoed Oxford efforts, the basic idea of mapping their traditional colours onto US sports shirts, each of which have very distinctive and different look to a football shirt, is a sound one and a potential source of additional revenue for clubs.
So, with the help of ChatGPT, I've done a bit of reimagining of my own and knocked up concept shirts for the four major US sports; Baseball, American Football, Ice Hockey and Basketball, based on our current home kit, with each featuring the name and number of a Baggie legend.
The question is this the kind of merch our fanbase would be interested in as something different from the usual team kits and training wear?
Could a US sports collection bring in extra revenue for the club, were they to commission designs like those below?
What do you reckon, Baggies?
